Transportation

It’s easy getting to and around Long Beach. From airports, travel by car, limo, shuttle or the efficient Long Beach Yellow Cab. From downtown Long Beach, LAX and Orange County airports are less than 30 minutes away while the ultra-convenient, affordable Long Beach Airport is seven minutes. Explore Long Beach on foot, bike or onboard the free downtown Passport shuttle. Downtown’s First Street Station connects you to Los Angeles attractions and surrounding cities. In the summer, explore our lively waterfront via AquaBus and AquaLink.

Airport

Coming from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), take 405 south, then take 710 south. Downtown Long Beach is located at the end of the 710 freeway. Limousine, taxi and/or airport shuttle service is also available. 

Coming from Long Beach Airport (LGB) or Orange County’s John Wayne Airport (SNA), take 405 north, then take 710 south. Downtown Long Beach is located at the end of the 710 freeway. Limousine, taxi and/or airport shuttle service is also available..
