The ESA Four-Dimensional Ecology Education (4DEE) Extravaganza is back after 4 years!  To meet the growing interest in the 4DEE framework , ESA is excited to showcase the phenomenal work produced by 4DEE Education Scholars who participated in the Transforming Ecology Education to 4D (TEE) Faculty Mentoring Networks (FMN) and other scholars in the 4DEE community. Whether you are an educator looking for resources for your classroom and courses, or you are a researcher seeking  ideas for collaboration, please join us in the 4DEE Extravaganza!

When

The 4DEE Extravaganza is a virtual event to be held via Zoom over two days

  • April 24, 2024 from 11 am to 1 pm Eastern Time
  • April 30, 2024 from 2 pm to 4 pm Eastern Time

Call for Presentations – there’s still time to submit

We seek to make this event a helpful resource for the ecological community across all departments and levels! We welcome those who have applied the 4DEE Framework in your efforts to present your results and perspectives.  All topics related to 4DEE are welcome including but not limited to 4DEE and fieldwork, assessment, working with non-ecology majors etc.

Presentations are 10-15 minutes with 5-10 minutes for discussion.  Space is still available for presentations on April 30. Proposals are now accepted until slots are filled.
