Eligibility

1. Preference will be given to members of the Open Science session at the time of application, but everyone will be considered. Registration grants might include society membership fees.

2. The grantee should be presenting a virtual talk during the meeting. The presentation should be directly or indirectly related to open science. If you are giving a presentation linked to open science, explain what you are presenting, the session, and why this is important to the ESA community. If you currently do not have a presentation in this line, there is a couple of options. First, you can pitch an idea for a talk to be included at the Decolonizing and Diversifying inspire session on how open science can advance more equitable research. Second, you can pitch a late-breaking poster. Third, you can pitch an idea for a talk before applying and we (the organizers) will try to find a invited session that your pitch fits in and try to include you. We ask you to make your best pitch in the form, and then we will directly contact you to make the necessary arrangements. Obs.: If you are proposing a new presentation at the meeting, you should still abide to one presentation per presenting author, with the exception if the one presentation is research-focused and the other is education/outreach focused or within an Inspire session.

3. Awardees will be asked to provide a photo and short biography to our website and social media.
