Registration Types<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Two registration types are available for the Joint ESA\/CSEE Annual Meeting<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Option 1 <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

In person content for events taking place August 14-19, 2022, in Montreal, Canada and access to virtual content (on-demand content.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Option 2<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Virtual content (on-demand content) gives you access to all on-demand presentations, posters, recorded plenary sessions and select workshops, short courses and social events that selected to be virtual only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s included with my registration?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Option 1 – In Person Registration (Full Week or One Day)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

You will have access to all sessions and social events with the exception of a few that require an additional fee (short courses and ticketed social events such as the Diversity Luncheon, Diversity Forum, and Student Mixer). The Welcome Reception on Sunday and the Closing Networking Reception on Thursday are included for all registered attendees with no ticket required. Some of the workshops, short courses, and social events will take place virtually through Zoom and will be clearly labeled as virtual sessions in the meeting program. All other sessions will be held in person. Full meeting registration includes a complimentary coffee break each morning and light food and refreshments during every poster session. Full meeting registration includes access to virtual meeting content as described under Virtual Registration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One Day registration includes access to all oral and poster sessions, special sessions, plenaries, workshops, exhibits, career central, business meetings, and non-ticketed social events that are taking place only on the day you selected<\/strong>. If you want to attend sessions on multiple days, you need to register for a full conference registration. It is not possible to select two (2) or more One Day options<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Option 2 – Virtual Registration (Full Week)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

You will have access to all virtual sessions and virtual social events with the exception of a few that require an additional fee (short courses and ticketed social events). Virtual workshops, short courses, and social events will take place virtually through Zoom and will be clearly labeled as virtual sessions in the meeting program. On demand virtual content will be available on the meeting platform until July 2023. This will include recordings of all of the plenary sessions and workshops as well as any uploaded presentations. Presenters will be highly encouraged to upload their talk (slides, audio, closed captioning) or poster (PDF) to be made available for on demand access after their in person presentation has taken place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

G<\/strong>uest<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Guest access to non-scientific portions of the meeting program (social events, field trips) only for the family or friends of the Full-Week or One-Day registrants. Additional fees to register for individual trips or social events also apply for guests. Anyone who plans to attend scientific sessions (oral\/special sessions, posters, workshops) should not<\/u><\/strong> register as a guest. If you are coming with a childcare provider<\/u><\/em><\/strong> (spouse, partner, family member, nanny, etc.), please contact the ESA REGISTRAR<\/a> for assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guests are defined as a spouse, significant other, or family member who is not a member of ESA\/CSEE and who may not have an interest in ecology or evolution but will attend purely to accompany a family member or friend. Professional colleagues must register independently<\/em>.<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All deadlines are 5:00 PM Eastern (2:00 PM Pacific) Time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note all online registration fees are charged in US Dollars since ESA is located in the United States. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
