Safe and inclusive field research: How can the proposed new NSF supplementary doc help achieve this goal?

NSF is offering the opportunity to comment on a proposed change in the Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures, which would include a new supplementary doc that describes a Plan for Safe and Inclusive Field/Vessel/Aircraft Research (PSI-FVAR), required for all proposals involving fieldwork. 1) How can this new required document be crafted for making a real, positive impact? 2) What resources and support might help field scientists address these proposed changes if they are adopted? 3) What feedback or recommendations can our community give to NSF?
