Forging ahead: the #ESA100 (2014-15) annual report

The 2014-2015 (August to August) Annual Report is online.

The ESA2015 Birthday Bash at Union Brewery closed the 100th Annual Meeting of the society in Baltimore, Md. Credit, ESA/Liza Lester.

The 100th year of the society featured lively conversations on the past, present, and future of ecology. We marked the centennial with special additions to the annual meeting program, reflections on notable papers of the last century, a contest imagining the ecological work of the future, and Centennial research articles, among many other projects.

The year ushered in major changes for ESA publications, with a move to a publishing partnership with Wiley and the a launch of a new joint journal with the Ecological Society of China.

We’ve reformatted the report as a web page this year for easier browsing. Take a moment to revisit the highlights of ESA’s initiatives in education, communication, and collaborative science in the 2014-1015 Annual Report.
