ESA seeks Earth Day blogs

This year’s Earth Day, marking the anniversary of the founding of the modern environmental movement in 1970, is Sunday, April 22, 2007.

In celebration of this event, ESA News and Views will feature your thoughts, reminiscences, polemics, and general musings on Earth Day. For example:

  • tell us your memories of Earth Days past if you’re old enough to remember the first one, tell us where you were and what you did
if 2007 is your first, tell us how you plan to celebrate the day and why
  • talk about why Earth Day matters to you (or doesn’t, if that’s the case) did it affect your choice of a career in the environmental field?
  • do you think Earth Day made a difference in how people view the environment? did it make a difference in environmental protection in the U.S. or internationally? tell us why, or why not.

Does Earth Day still matter?

Send your posts to esablog@nullesa.org by April 22, 2007 and help ESA celebrate and remember Earth Day!
