Global Wildlife Resources (GWR) is dedicated to promoting the humane capture and handling of wildlife through comprehensive training and field assistance.

The Foundations of Wildlife Chemical Capture and Wildlife Handling and Chemical Immobilization courses, both led by Dr. Mark Johnson, have been approved for continuing education.

The Foundations of Wildlife Chemical Capture is a self-paced course that provides interactive support and is available for registration at any time. It’s the perfect opportunity for anyone interested in learning about wildlife capture techniques, with student discounts and college credit options available. For more information contact Dr. Mark.

Wildlife Handling and Chemical Immobilization is a 3-day in-person course, which will take place at Wenatchee Valley College, WA from June 28-30, 2023. It is an extensive chemical immobilization course that includes hands-on labs with animals. The training is designed for state/federal/tribal wildlife professionals, college students, and wildlife rehabilitators, and focuses on the field-based needs for chemical immobilization of captive and free-ranging wildlife.
