BESC-CoFARM Hill Event
April 18-19, 2007
Again this year, the Biological Ecological Sciences Coalition (BESC) and the Coalition on Funding Agricultural Research Missions (CoFARM) are organizing an event that aims to inform members of Congress and their staff about the importance of federal support for agricultural and biological research. In addition, the event provides participants with information and networking opportunities that will be useful throughout the year.
Since 2003, these two coalitions have teamed up to organize a Spring Hill event that plays a critical role in the annual federal funding process for the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) research programs.
