Microbial Ecology Section

The ESA Microbial Ecology Section will be giving out two travel awards worth $600 to students (high school, undergrad, or grad) to attend the ESA meeting in Portland, OR in August 2017. 

To be considered, you must be a section member who will be presenting research (a poster or oral presentation) at the annual meeting. Funding will be contingent upon your abstract being accepted.

To apply, send a copy of your abstract, personal statement of your research impact and need for support, and one letter of recommendation to Ed Hall (ed.hall at colostate.edu) and indicate “ESA ME travel application” in the subject line.

Applications are due March 1st, 2017 by 5 pm Mountain time.
