About the Section
"The Urban Ecosystem Ecology Section of the Ecological Society of America (1) promotes an understanding of the importance of urban ecosystems among ecologists and members of related disciplines, (2) encourages education and research in urban ecosystem ecology, (3) sponsors meetings and publications for the communication of research and educational activities in urban ecosystem ecology, and (4) encourages student participation in the Society."
