ESA Student Section receives Long Range Planning Grant

The ESA Student Section just received a $2400 ESA Long Range Planning Grant in support to the activities that will take place at the 2010 ESA annual meeting. These activities include the Eco-Arts exhibit, travel awards, academic excellence awards and much more! Stay tuned because the calls for each award/contest will be made public very soon.

2009 ESA Student Section Best Undergraduate Presentation Award

The Student Section of the Ecological Society of America will award two cash prizes ($100 each) to the best undergraduate student oral presentation and best undergraduate student poster presentation. Best undergraduate student oral and poster presentations will be awarded based on the same criteria as the Buell and Braun awards (see http://www.esa.org/albuquerque/buell_braun.php for additional details). Awards for the 2009 recipients will be presented at the Student Section award ceremony at the 2010 annual meeting.

2009 ESA Outstanding Student Research Awards

Attention All ESA Students and Faculty,

The ESA Student Section is pleased to sponsor the Second Annual Outstanding Student Research in Ecology Awards program. We will award two students, cash prizes for excellence in research via an outstanding publication. There are awards for both UNDERGRADUATE and GRADUATE research so don't miss out!
