Rangeland Ecology Liaison: Brady Allred (Oklahoma State University)

ABOUT ME & SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS:
I am a grassland ecologist interested in a variety of subjects, but currently focusing on one important topic: the ecological interactions between fire and grazing. Much of my current research is centered around the mechanisms of fire grazing interactions, and ranges from examining large herbivore behavior to plant photosynthesis. I am also interested in general disturbance and landscape ecology, particularly as it relates to grassland conservation. I am finishing my doctoral studies at Oklahoma State University. Previous education was completed at New Mexico State University, with substantial training from the USDA-ARS and LTER Jornada Experimental Range.
