ROLE:
To help ESA attendees find hidden attractions in Pittsburgh.
ABOUT ME & SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS:
I am broadly interested in the problem of biodiversity; why are there so many species? I have studied this question in the extremely diverse African Great Lakes, however the majority of my research is on simplified lab-based microbial communities. Currently I am a graduate student in Richard Lenski's experimental evolution lab where I study the coevolution of viruses and bacteria.
