I initiated my studies in the economics area, carrying out my studies in the National University of Asuncion (NUA), Paraguay, where I took courses of economics and accounting. In the last year of career I gained a scholarship of the International Agency of Cooperation Interuniversitaria (IACI-SPAIN) to carry out courses in Political Economics in the University of Vic, Barcelona, Spain. Concluded my studies, I began to work as a teacher assistant in several universities of Paraguay, including the NUA. Then, I obtained the scholarship LASPAU-OAS to study the Mastery in Environmental Economics in the CATIE, Costa Rica, where I graduated in the 2006. In the investigation of the thesis I decided to opt for the area of Climatic Change, since, it is a global problem that requires of professionals qualified, above all in Latin America where problems as the deforestation require of urgent measures that can help to stop this problem with alternatives that compensate to the different actors, like the environmental education, Payment by Environmental Services (PSA), and also the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM). CDM is an instrument of the Kyoto Protocol with which can be sold from forest plantations carbon certificates that remove greenhouse gases effects (GGE) of the atmosphere.

At present, I am writing the article of the thesis of investigation in one of the magazines of the CATIE, then I will intend to publish in other magazines of scientific interest to share this investigation that I believe will help to know more extensively the CDM as a feasible instrument in many cases and like a real mechanism of mitigation climatic change, still more for the countries of Latin America, because is the unique of the Kyoto Protocol that involves to the developing countries to contribute to the mitigation with energy and forest projects with which they are favored of new technology for improve the quality of life of the society in all the aspects (economic, educational, health, etc.).
Among my objectives to carry out: to participate in conferences, that I consider very important to update us among professionals; the teaching, because I consider the education like motor of development of any society; and the investigation, because is the backbone of any scientific institution on behalf of the global development.

Participating in ESA Convention 2007 is a great opportunity for me as young professional. I consider this importance by the quality of professionals that will participate, by the themes to be developed in the convention. It represents an important step to continue with my academic development on behalf of contribute with the society.
