Public Affairs Officer: Carmel de Bertaut (San Jose State)
ROLE:
As the public affairs and networking officer, my main role is to manage the Facebook group and make announcements there in collaboration with the ESA-SS board.
ABOUT ME & SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS:
I am a undergrad at San Jose State University. I am majoring in Natural Sciences with a concentration in Biodiversity Stewardship and a minor in Environmental studies. I expect to graduate in December 2009, and I hope to get an MA in behavioral ecology. After completing my MA, I hope to follow up with a PhD in behavioral ecology. My main areas of interest are corvids and coyotes. I have worked hands on with all corvids found in the San Jose, CA area and with coyotes.
