Ecological Society of America

The SIPI SEEDS chapter seeks to: 1) increase understanding of careers in ecology among SIPI students, and 2) provide specific information on opportunities available to undergraduate students such as employment internships, research projects, conferences, and mentoring and scholarships, and 3) bring visiting scientists to present their research and interact with students.

In addition, our SEEDS chapter seeks to provide interesting field experiences, whether local or regional, that help students translate the knowledge they acquire in the classroom into a deeper understanding of plant, animal, and ecosystem ecology.
