SEEDS would like to recognize the accomplishments of Dr. Gerald Selzer and thank the Organization of Biological Field Stations for their contribution to SEEDS in memory of Dr. Gerald Selzer. Thanks to their generosity, SEEDS now has a video camera to document SEEDS activities, such as field trips, annual meetings, leadership meetings, etc.

| ESA Annual MeetingsThe SEEDS Program offers travel awards for students, alumni, and faculty Chapter advisors to cover travel, lodging, meal, and registration expenses to attend the Ecological Society of America (ESA) Annual Meeting. SEEDS specific events at the Annual Meeting include an orientation dinner, a Chapter workshop, and a breakfast for participants and mentors.

| Field TripsSEEDS Student Field Trips are exciting opportunities for students to see the practical applications of ecology at sites such as field stations, research laboratories, and national parks. Student are able to visit an interesting and ecologically important site, receive training in specific areas, explore various ecological career options, and build connections with students at other schools.

| Leadership MeetingHeld annually, the Leadership Meeting is an opportunity for people involved with all facets of SEEDS to engage in a dialogue. The meeting provides a venue for SEEDS participants to discuss their involvement with the program as it relates to their career, academic and personal development. These discussions help define how the program can further its mission of diversifying the field of ecology.
