American Chemical Society Project SEED Student Scholarship
College scholarships (for a first-year nonrenewable) are available for SEED
students who have graduated from high school and plan to attend college The
scholarships are restricted to students who will major in a chemical science
field such as chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, or materials
science. The scholarships are intended to assist former SEED participants in
their transition from high school to college. Deadline is February 1.
- EPA Marshall Scholarship Program
In recognition of the global nature of environmental challenges and the need to pool the resources of many nations to solve environmental problems, EPA has joined with the United Kingdom 's Marshall Aid Commemoration Commission, which has been administering the esteemed Marshall Scholarship since 1953. Through an EPA Marshall Scholarship, up to three talented individuals with strong backgrounds in environmentally relevant sciences are selected each year to receive up to five years of graduate education assistance. The first two years are supported by the UK through a Marshall Scholarship to a university in Great Britain . Successful candidates may receive up to three additional years of support towards a doctoral degree, either in England or in the US. Applications are due each year on October 1.
- Hispanic Scholarship Fund
HSF is the nation’s leading organization supporting Hispanic higher
education. HSF offers a variety of scholarship programs for students at
different points in their academic careers ranging from: High School Senior,
Community College Transfer Student, Undergraduate Student,
Graduate/Professional Student, and Gates Millennium Scholars. HSF offers a
variety of scholarship programs intended to help students afford the college
education of their choice by providing financial resources in addition to
federal and/or institutional (college-based) financial aid. All HSF
scholarship applicants must also apply for federal and institutional
financial aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and if
required by your school, the PROFILE. Deadlines vary.

K. Udall Undergraduate Scholarship
The Morris K. Udall Scholarship and Excellence in National Environmental
Policy Foundation awards 80 merit-based scholarships of up to $5,000 to
College sophomores and juniors who have demonstrated outstanding potential
and a commitment to pursuing careers related to the environment; Native
American and Alaska Native college sophomores and juniors who have
demonstrated outstanding potential and a commitment to careers related to
tribal public policy or health care. The Foundation will also award up to 50
Honorable Mentions of $350. The receipt deadline for the competition is
March 3.
- Native American Scholarship Fund, Inc
Scholarship for American Indians or Alaskan Natives for graduate or undergraduate study in the fields of math, engineering, science, business or education.
March 15, April 15, and September 15 deadlines.

The American Indian Science & Engineering Society (AISES) Scholarship Award
AISES is a national, non-profit organization that nurtures the building of a
community by bridging science and technology with traditional Native values.
AISES administers 5 distinct scholarships, in partnership with various
organizations, as well as its own memorial scholarship. AISES scholarships
are intended to supplement the unmet financial needs of qualified American
Indian students pursuing degrees in science, engineering, and technology.
The scholarship programs were created to assure that deserving American
Indian students could actively pursue higher education. Application
Deadline: June 15 and April 15.
