The Paine College SEEDS Campus Ecology Chapter promotes ecological awareness on campus and community via regular meetings, social events, environmental forums, and skill development workshops for the students. The Chapter also attracts minority students in the field of ecology and environmental sciences, encouraging more and more minority students to take courses in ecology and environmental studies. Finally, the Chapter provides mentoring to freshman and sophomores about the scope of career opportunities in ecology and environmental studies via career awareness seminars and workshops. |
