	Morning: Plenary talks on resources and tools for continental-scale ecology Identification of important questions to address in population and community ecology Afternoon/Evening: Working groups refine and prioritize key questions Joint reception with students from the Future of Environmental Decisions (FED) Workshop

	Morning: Working groups report back in plenary Working groups develop preliminary research plans Afternoon: Working groups identify ideas of associated broader impacts projects Working groups report back in plenary
Thursday, June 6, 2013
	Morning: Joint session with FED Student Workshop to discuss research plans and broader impacts project ideas Working groups refine research plans based on student feedback Afternoon: Working groups meet in plenary to exchange ideas based on student feedback Joint session with students to provide feedback on refined plans and form collaborative research teams
Friday, June 7, 2013
	Morning: Joint session; participate in student research project presentations Next steps and closing Adjourn at noon
