The
Student Mixer will be held at one of Montréal’s most popular Dim Sum
restaurants, “Chez Chine”, which has been reserved exclusively for this
event. The interior décor of this unique venue transports one to the Orient
with its ponds, bridges, and tea houses, and provides plenty of spaces where
guests can gather to talk. The evening’s fare will include mini chicken spring
rolls, vegetarian spring rolls, pork and shrimp shu-mai, golden bags, mini pork
buns, shrimp dumplings, and a selection of vegetarian Chinese canapés. In
addition, the event fee includes one complimentary beverage.
The
restaurant is located in the Holiday Inn Select in
Chinatown
, which is
directly adjacent to the Palais des congrès de Montréal. This proximity will
allow guests ample opportunity to partake of the fun and still have time to
return the Palais to attend a Tuesday Evening Session (such as the always
popular and enjoyable Authors and Poets Evening), or to continue on for dinner
on the town.
