The
ESA 89th Annual Meeting will be held in
Portland,
Oregon, from Sunday, August 1 through
noon
on
Friday, August 6, 2004. The richness of the Lewis and Clark
legacy in the ecological sciences of the
northwest – and the lessons of their
expedition for future government sponsored
science – set the meeting’s theme:
"Lessons of Lewis & Clark:
Ecological Exploration of Inhabited
Landscapes." We invite you to attend
this exciting program, which we believe
will draw more than 3,500 ecological
scientists, cutting edge researchers,
science policy makers, and leading
educators from around the world.
Please
refer to specific pages of this
Preliminary Program to learn more about
the meeting schedule, programs, and
amenities. To conserve paper, this
information will be posted on the ESA
website rather than mailed. Those who do
not have Internet access may contact ESA
Headquarters at (202) 833-8773 to request
printed information. Please note that this
website will be updated as new information
becomes available and some pages may be
unavailable while "Under
Construction." We regret any
inconvenience and invite you to check back
often for the latest information.
