DAY CARE - FOR INFANTS, TODDLERS, AND PRESCHOOLERS
The Day Care services offered will be specifically designed for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers 3 months to 4 years old. Children will enjoy excellent care and attention with a caregiver to child ratio of 2:9 and no more than 4 children 13 months or younger enrolled at any one time.
Day Care will be provided in a Child Care Center set up in Meeting Rooms 525a and 525b on Level 5 of the Palais des congrès de Montréal. This area is easily accessible for nursing mothers and parents who just want stop by to check on their children between sessions. It also is carpeted and will be partitioned to provide a quiet area for infants and toddlers to nap and private space for mothers to nurse babies. The Child Care Center will be stocked with age-appropriate toys and is located adjacent to bathroom facilities.
Day Care will be offered between 7:45 AM and 5:15 PM daily Monday, August 8 through Thursday, August 11, and between 7:45 AM and NOON on Friday, August 12. Please plan to arrive at the Child Care Center with your child 10 to 15 minutes prior to the start of first time slot you request to provide ample opportunity for you to review the Child Profile Form with staff and for your child to get acclimated before you leave.
Parents/guardians may select full-day (7:45 AM to 5:15 PM) and/or half-day (7:45 AM to NOON or 1 PM to 5:15 PM) time slots for care for $50 US Dollars and $25 US Dollars per time slot, respectively. Fees for full- and half-day time slots include a snack for toddlers and preschoolers. A nutritious box lunch also will be available for children on a table food diet for an additional $8 US Dollars per meal.
Plan on having a wonderful and productive time at the ESA-INTECOL Joint Meeting while your child is well cared for and close enough to visit between sessions at the Child Care Center in the Palais des congrès de Montréal.
