This year’s official housing locations include nine hotels and inns as well as dormitories on the campuses of University of Quebec (Les Residences Universitaries de l’UQAM) and McGill University (new residence hall). All official lodging locations are located within walking distance of the Palais des congrès de Montréal (convention center), where the Meeting Registration Desk will be located and all scientific sessions for the 2005 ESA-INTECOL Joint Meeting will be held. Due to the proximity of these properties, ESA will NOT provide shuttle service between official lodging locations and the Palais. However, for those unable or unwilling to walk, convenient public transportation by taxi, (Metro) subway, or bus is available between all locations and the Palais. Parking is also available for a fee both at the Palais and at most official lodging locations for those who choose to drive. 

All requests for lodging at negotiated conference rates at official housing locations should be submitted using the official Housing Reservation Form to the ESA-INTECOL Housing Bureau, which will be operated by Tourisme Montreal. Nominal fees have been included in all room rates at all official lodging locations to help defray the costs for Tourisme Montreal services. Please do NOT contact hotels or residence halls directly or submit housing requests to ESA Headquarters.
