about the Ecological Society of America’s 89th Annual Meeting here.
Media services will be headquartered in the Second Floor VIP Suite B at the
Oregon Convention
Center during the ESA 89th Annual Meeting. The Press Room is offered
as an amenity for reporters, freelance journalists, and radio and television
correspondents who attend the meeting and report on the scientific
presentations. Reporters will have access to computers, Internet, copier, fax,
and phone lines.

For those attending
ESA policy on Press Credentials
We are able to waive registration for reporters with: a recognized press card
or current membership in the National Association of Science Writers, the Canadian
Science Writers Association, the International Science Writers Association,
or the Society of Environmental Journalists. Registration is also waived for
Public Information Officers who can demonstrate membership in one of the above
professional organizations.
We do not waive registration for editors of peer-reviewed journals, ad sales
representatives, publishers, program officers or marketing professionals.

The ESA Public Affairs Office can also coordinate with members of the press
who wish to cannot attend the meeting but wish to cover events. Please call
