Accommodations Information

Making A HOTEL Reservation: We now have a new block of rooms at the Radisson Hotel.

To obtain the negotiated ESA hotel rates at the official lodging locations, housing reservations must be submitted on-line to the ESA Housing Bureau at https://resweb.passkey.com/Resweb.do?mode=welcome_ei_new&eventID=2508018&fromResdesk=true In using the ESA Housing Bureau you allow ESA to fill the room block, and obtain credit for your stay in hotels that make up our block.

Please be sure to provide valid credit card information, including card number and expiration date, or deposit payment by check to make and guarantee a reservation. No actual charge will be made to your credit card prior to check out unless you fail to show up on the scheduled date of arrival, and do not cancel your reservation in accordance with the policies of the location holding your reservation. If you will share a room, you MUST identify your roommate(s) in advance of making your housing reservation. The Housing Bureau will not find a roommate for you. Please submit only ONE Housing Reservation Form for each shared room and list the names(s) of all room occupants in the space(s) provided.

Making a Dorm Room Reservation at Point Park University

ESA has negotiated hotel rates at nearby hotels as well as a block of rooms at the Point Park University in downtown Pittsburgh.  There are two important items:  Point Park University dorm rooms have NO AIR CONDITIONING and NO LINENS.  You will need to bring your own towels and sheets if you stay in the dorm.  It is almost time for the students to return to Point Park University and this is all they could offer us.  The other Universities in Pittsburgh could not provide us with dorm rooms.  Please use the link below for information to help make your reservation.

All requests for housing must be received at Point Park University no later than Saturday, July 17th, 2010. Each person requesting a double room must submit the name of their roommate on their Reservation Form.  If you will share a room, you MUST identify your roommate(s) in advance of making your housing reservation. Each person staying at the University MUST submit a Housing Reservation Form for each shared room and list the name(s) of all room occupants in the space(s) provided.

ESA Roommate and Ride Share
The ESA Roommate and Transportation Forum is an electronic bulletin board designed to facilitate communication among meeting registrants seeking to share lodging or a ride to Pittsburgh for the Annual Meeting. The Roommate and Ride Share is located on the ESA Website. Those using the Forum have complete responsibility for what they post. ESA Headquarters cannot guarantee that users will locate roommates or rides using the Forum, nor is ESA liable for any consequences to those who seek roommates or traveling partners using the Forum.

If you plan to share a hotel room or a room at Point Park University (dorm reservation form), you must identify your roommate(s) in advance of making housing reservations and only one of the persons sharing the room should submit the Housing Reservations Form. A charge for the entire stay will be placed against the credit card of the person who submits the Housing Reservations Form to guarantee the bed.
