I have attended a previous ESA Annual Meeting
If selected:
I will provide the time to communicate with my student and fellow mentors throughout the summer. Anticipated commitment is 30 minutes per week. A listserv will be created for mentors to communicate.
I will attend the SEEDS Mentor orientation on Sunday August 5th (3-5 pm), the SEEDS Welcome Dinner August 5
th
(7-9 pm) and the SEEDS Breakfast on Monday August 6
th
(7-8 am).
I will provide the time to meet with my student each day during the Annual Meeting. Anticipated commitment is 60 minutes per day.
I will convey a positive and honest view of ecology as a science and a career.
I will respect the views of my student although they may be different than my own.
I am willing to continue the relationship via email or phone beyond the Annual Meeting, if my student so desires.
