Current position: Assistant Professor, Department of Natural Resource Sciences and McGill School of Environment, McGill University

Education: MSc, Land Resources; PhD, Limnology and Marine Sciences, University of Wisconsin-Madison, 2001.

Dr. Bennett is an ecosystem ecologist interested in ecosystem services from agricultural landscapes. She was a postdoctoral fellow with the Millennium Ecosystem Assessment, where she was one of four leaders for the Scenarios Working Group. Current work in her lab focuses on quantifying the multiple ecosystem services provided by agricultural landscapes; understanding the relationship between biodiversity and ecosystem services; and large-scale modeling of phosphorus dynamics in agricultural systems, including the role of trade in the global phosphorus cycle.
