Communicating with Congress

Through its Public Affairs Office, ESA brings issues of concern to the ecological community to the attention of policy makers. These issues fall into two main categories: (1) advocating for strong federal support for science and education overall and ecology in particular and (2) informing policy decisions with scientific information based on the expertise of ESA 's members.
