Workshops are focused on transferring specific knowledge or skills
to others, with substantive interaction among participants. Workshops may involve
one presenter, a series of lectures or a panel or may involve computer-based training.
Workshops are typically scheduled for full or half days. They are usually held
before the formal scientific program begins, running concurrently with field trips.
Proposals for 11/2 hour workshops taking place during the lunch break during the
week may also be submitted. Workshops usually involve a modest fee. Proposals
for workshops are invited. Review and placement will be made by the Program Chairs.
