All trips depart from and return to the Fiesta Americana Merida.

Two-day Field Trips

FT-1: Trip to Biocultural Preserve Kaxil-Kiuic, Hacienda Tabi and Caves of Loltún.
Departs Sunday, January 8 at 8 AM - Returns Monday, January 9 at 5 PM
Fee: $75 US Dollars - includes lunch and dinner Sunday, breakfast Monday, lodging in cabins (with hammocks), admission to Loltún caves, and tranportation.
Minimum: 15 ................................. Maximum: 40

Visit a semi-evergreen tropical forest, an archeological Maya zone, a XVIII century hacienda, and the Loltún system of caves.

FT-2: Southern Yucatan and Uxmal
Departs Sunday, January 8 at 8 AM - Returns Monday, January 9 at 4 PM
Fee: $150 US Dollars - includes lodging at the Hotel Mision Uxmal, box lunch Sunday, dinner Sunday and breakfast Monday at the Hotel, an entrance ticket to the archeological zone, and transportation.
Minimum: 5 ................................. Maximum: 10

Visit the irrigation unit of Xbox, the community centers of Chacsinkin, Tadziu, Ticul, and an archeological Maya site at Uxmal .

One-day Field Trips

FT-3: Dzibilchaltún National Park and a Coastal Dune Scrub
Departs Monday, January 9 at 8 AM - Returns Monday, January 9 at 4 PM
Fee: $40 US Dollars - includes admission to National Park, lunch, a guided tour of the archeological zone, and transportation.
Minimum: 6 ................................. Maxmum: 16

Explore coastal dune vegetation, a beach, a tropical dry deciduous forest, and an archeological Maya site, and swim in a water hole (cenote).

FT-4: W ater Holes (Cenotes) of Yucatan
Departs Monday, January 9 at 8 AM - Returns Monday, January 9 at 4 PM
Fee: $45 US Dollars - includes lunch and transportation
Minimum: 5 ................................. Maximum: 40

Visit the Maya temple in Acanceh, an abandoned henequen plantation in a tropical dry forest, and an old hacienda in Chunkanan; travel in wood platforms pulled by horses; and swim in three cenotes.

FT-5: Maní, School of Ecological Agriculture and Convent of Maní
Departs Monday, January 9 at 8:30 AM - Returns Monday, January 9 at 4:30 PM
Fee: $40 - includes breakfast, lunch, and transportation
Minimum: 6 ................................. Maximum: 20

Visit a school in Yucatan for rural social groups dedicated to agroecological formation. Also visit an old franciscana convent.

FT-6: Celestun Biosphere Reserve
Departs Monday, January 9 at 8:30 AM - Returns Monday, January 9 at 4:30 PM
Fee: $60 US Dollars - includes boat rental, guided tour, lunch, and transportation.
Minimum: 15 ................................. Maximum: 60

Visit the flamingo preserve, bird island, a petrified mangrove forest, and a ghost town. Swim in a freshwater spring.

FT-7: Biocultural Preserve Kaxil-Kiuic
Departs Monday, January 9 at 8:30 AM - Returns Monday, January 9 at 4:30 PM
Fee: $45 US Dollars - includes guided tour, lunch, and transportation.
Minimum: 15 ................................. Maximum: 30

Visit a seasonal semi-evergreen tropical forest and an archeological Maya zone.

FT-8A: CICY Botanical Gardens
Departs Monday, January 9 at 8 AM - Returns Monday, January 9 at 10 AM

FT-8B: CICY Botanical Gardens
Departs Monday, January 9 at 10 AM - Returns Monday, January 9 at 12 PM

FT-8C: CICY Botanical Gardens
Departs Monday, January 9 at 12 PM - Returns Monday, January 9 at 2 PM
Fee: $8 US Dollars - includes admission to gardens and transportation

Visit the Regional Botanical Garden of the Scientific Research Center of Yucatán (CICY). The facility is located in the northern part of Merida City and contains endemic and regional flora of Yucatán.

Minimum: 8 per visit ................................. Maximum: 16 per visit
