The first printing of the Commission's Final Report contained the following typographical errors:

  • P. 103, 2nd line in the final paragraph: currently reads "3000 foot plug"; should read "300 foot plug"
  • P. 139, 1st line of the fourth paragraph: "prophesy" should read "prophecy"
  • P. 305, 3rd line of first paragraph: currently reads "United States could pay an important leadership role"; should read "United States could play an important leadership role"

These errors have been corrected in the electronic version of the report available on this web site and in the Government Printing Office's subsequent printings of the report.
