Assistant Professor of Biology at Montana Tech (Butte, MT)

The Department of Biological Sciences seeks to appoint a tenure stream Assistant Professor of Biology who will act as the PI on an ongoing native plant restoration project that is currently funded for 7 years. This position will also serve as the Director of Restoration Ecology and will be responsible for developing and managing restoration ecology curricula, which will appeal to engineering graduates. The position will require teaching courses in Restoration Ecology, Plant Identification and Soil Science. The Assistant Professor will develop additional externally funded projects and participate in Department of Biological Sciences activities.
