The Use of Fairy Tales and Beer Bets as Ways to Help Students in Ecology and Environmental Science Courses Develop Imagination and Confidence

This article relays a 'fairy tale' version of biogeochemical cycling to emphasize the importance of imagination in the learning setting. It also describes an on going classroom activity where 'beer bets' are placed on BOTECs to encourage students to have confidence in their answers.
