This article encourages teachers to integrate the evaluation of course reforms into the classroom. It defines related terms, such as course evaluation, program and project evaluation, and formative and summative evaluations. It provides examples of formative evaluation techniques. The author also discusses action research which is a type of formative investigative evaluation performed by teachers.
