Pool 17 along the Turure River in 2005 with Reference Point
This picture was taken in 2005 along the Turure River before the mountain road had been widened. It contains one of the researchers for scale. The researcher is up to his knees in the pool, less than 2 feet deep. The pool is above his waist (more than 3 feet) closer to the rocks along the far bank. The stream flows from the left of the photograph to the right. The reference point in the photo matches the reference point in the Pool 17 photo taken in 2009.
