Position or Title: RESOURCE SCIENCE FIELD STATION SUPERVISOR - FOREST FIELD STATION
Agency/State: MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION
LOCATION OF POSITION: Position is located at the Ozark Regional Office in West Plains, Missouri. The position is in the Resource Science Division.

Responsibilities: Supervises and directs a science program unit. Administers and coordinates all activities of the station. Administers department policies, deals with personnel matters, serves as leader and promoter of approaches to structured learning (Adaptive Resources Management) and applies critical thinking techniques to resource issues to help determine uncertainties and develop objectives to develop a long term, ecologically based scope of work for the field station. Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree and at least four (4) years of progressively responsible professional experience in management or research, two (2) years which must have been in a supervisory and/or administrative capacity; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary: Annually $45,132 to $79,680
