WWU invites applications for Director of Shannon Point Marine Center (SPMC). The Director reports to the Provost and provides academic and administrative leadership for SPMC programs, facilities and outreach efforts.

Established in 1973, the 78-acre SPMC campus includes 3000 feet of undisturbed beachfront.  SPMC supports: WWU’s academic programs in the marine sciences; research by scientists across marine related fields; research for undergraduates via federally-funded programs; and promotes ocean literacy through public education initiatives.  http://www.wwu.edu/spmc http://www.wwu.edu
