The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Las Cruces, New Mexico, invites applications for a two-year Postdoctoral position at the Jornada on the campus of New Mexico State University, GS-11/12 ($57,408.00-$68,809.00 per annum). A research associate is needed to evaluate the effects management actions on multiple ecosystem services in Chihuahuan Desert landscapes. (announcement RA-12-065-H). Position requires a recent (within 4 years) Ph.D in ecology, natural resources, geography, or a related field of study. The ideal candidate has experience with geographic information systems, rangeland ecology, database use, and statistics. This is a competitive, term appointment.
