The Department of Environmental Science and Ecological Engineering at Korea University, Seoul, Republic of Korea, invites applications for three tenure-track 12 month full-time Assistant, Associate, or Full Professors in the field of Environmental Chemistry, Watershed Management, and Systems Ecology/Ecosystem Modeling starting March 1, 2013.

The successful candidate will be expected to develop a productive, independent research program, teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels for 6 hours per week each semester. The candidate must be a non-Korean foreign national who is fluent in English. Postdoctoral or faculty experiences are also desirable. Responsibilities also include student advising and obtaining grants to support graduate students and the research program.

Details of salary and fringe benefits are as follows: 1) Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience starting from $55,000. 2) One research assistant fellowship will be provided each semester. 3) A free guest house on campus will be provided for 3 years 4) Moving expenses including airfares and partial educational fees for their family member will be supported. 5) A certain amount of start-up research fund will be awarded upon assignment. 6) Financial incentive for published papers in SCI/SCIE journals with a leading authorship will be awarded.
