Associate Professor/Assistant Professor
Department of Biology and Chemistry [Ref. A/088/49]

Duties : Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, supervise research students, conduct research, and perform any other duties as assigned by the Head.

Requirement : A PhD with at least 2 years' post-doctoral experience. Preference will be given to candidates with background in one of the following research areas: terrestrial environmental biology, environmental health and/or environmental safety, environmental or ecosystem modeling, environmental microbiology with an emphasis on metagenomics, and food safety. Candidates are expected to collaborate with colleagues at the interface between biology and chemistry.

Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be driven by market competitiveness and individual performance. Excellent fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes, and relocation assistance (where applicable). Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract.
